TDWOL 45 // SEE IT THROUGH // When people call songwriters *artists*, I roll my eyes a bit because while I guess it could be art, it usually isn't. I’m not putting songwriting down—I love it & it’s all I ever wanted to do—but at the same time you can say the most mediocre & cliché thing & if it rings true it can still be considered great. It doesn’t really matter how good or bad the words are, it’s about trying get out of your own way & actually communicate something. It’s hard to do. I barely can!
