FOUND IN TIME is the 50th That Dream Was Our Life EP. What a milestone lol. Even if I'm a bit embarrassed in a "wow you're really still plugging away at this" sort of way, writing songs is all I ever wanted to do & sticking with it after all this time has to be worth something, right? Songwriting is great because it’s something that anyone can do at any time. All you have to do is be sincere, make the words disappear into the music, & give someone a song they can sing. It comes from inside you but you also have to be generous enough to sculpt it as if it were someone else's story. After all, the best songs are the ones you think are about you.

Written while reading Johnny Marr's memoir & the latest Ben Lerner novel, watching Slow Horses on Apple TV+, & games of Diablo IV w/ Randy, Butch, & Cole.
